01

Context

A multi-year product strategy can become a list of disconnected initiatives unless the organization shares one view of value, sequencing, dependencies, and decision ownership.

The challenge was to create a transformation roadmap that connected the long-term ambition with practical decisions across product design, pricing, channels, customer lifecycle, value-added services, data, and technology.

02

A portfolio, not a project list

  • Start from customer and portfolio economics rather than individual feature requests.
  • Define strategic choices and explicit trade-offs before building the roadmap.
  • Map business value to data, decisioning, risk, sales, and technology dependencies.
  • Sequence foundational capabilities before experiences that depend on them.
  • Create governance that can revise priorities when evidence changes.

03

How execution was connected

The roadmap became a common decision surface across ExCo, Product, Risk, Finance, Sales, Data, and Technology. Each strategic theme was linked to measurable portfolio questions, an accountable owner, decision milestones, and a learning loop.

That structure made it possible to move between long-term direction and near-term product decisions without losing the original economic logic.

04

Outcome

The result was a clearer, executable transformation agenda spanning product, portfolio, channels, and customer lifecycle. The enduring value was not a static roadmap, but a repeatable way to translate strategy into governed choices and coordinated delivery.
