## Design principle

A roadmap is useful when it expresses choices, dependencies, and learning—not when it only sequences projects.

## The six fields

- Strategic ambition: what must be different in 3–5 years?
- Customer and economic problem: why does the change matter?
- Strategic choices: what will we do—and not do?
- Capabilities and dependencies: what must exist first?
- Decision milestones: when do leaders need to choose?
- Evidence and learning: what would change the roadmap?

## How to use it

Complete the canvas before creating a detailed initiative plan. Revisit it at each major governance point so that delivery decisions remain connected to the original strategic and economic logic.
